| About the course:
This training course targets the specialized engineers of Petrojet who are familiar with the basic design requirements of steel structure according to the American & European Codes. The aim of this course is to get them familiar with design of steel structures basics according to:
1. American codes (AISV 360-16 & AISI S100-16).
2. European codes (EN 1993-1-1, EN 1993-1-3, EN 1993-8, EN 1993-1-9).
The course is about 12 week and covers all the theoretical and practical aspects of the design of steel structures according to the required codes. It also includes the presentation of educational videos showing the subjects of the course and computer design programs.
Training Program Duration:
Total:
• 48 Sessions.
• 4 Session / Week – 12 Week.
• 4 Hours Session (from 1-5p.m).
• 2 Days Per Week (Monday – Thursday).
Certification Exam:
• The course includes periodic examinations.
• Final exam in the end of the course.
Certificate:
A certificate shall be issued from the Civil Engineering Centre, Cairo University at the end of the 12 weeks for the attendees who successfully complete the course.
