About This Project:
This project aims to:

• Connect the Red Sea with the White Sea through the Nile Delta and is considered the second alternative after the Suez Canal.
• Reducing the flight time for the movement of goods from the port of Ain Sokhna directly to the port of Alexandria and the port of El Alamein without passing through the Egyptian National Railways Network.
• Support the Egyptian National Railways Network and develop the new cities through which the proposed route passes.
  
  

Scope:
Preparation of the preliminary studies for the project which include the following:

• Preparing general layout of railway track (500 Km).
• Geological Study.
• Hydraulics Study.
• Preliminary Alignment on digital maps.
• Transportation study & preliminary financial analysis & business model.
